MERCEDES-BENZ will recall about 555 sedans in China for steering defects, China's quality watchdog said yesterday.
The front shock absorber of the sedans may fail to operate because of manufacturing flaws and may lead to steering problems, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said. The recalled vehicles were made before August 15, 2006.
