AEGON-CNOOC Life Insurance Co has gained regulatory approval from the China Insurance Regulatory Commission to prepare for the opening of a branch in Hebei Province, the joint-venture life insurer said yesterday. The expansion is part of the insurer's "moderately aggressive" business model.
