Railway station shows some love

Passengers walk past the south square of Shanghai Railway Station. Three temporary sheds have been built to protect people from harsh winter weather as they wait in long lines for tickets. This year's Spring Festival transport peak is expected between January 11 and February 19. A total of 6.65 million people will take trains at the city's two railway stations during the period. About 2.96 million are expected to depart before the festival begins on January 25. Another 5.4 million passengers will depart or arrive in the city during the period by air at the city's two airports.
