An epic undertaking

Taiwan model-actress Lin Chi-ling and Hong Kong actor Tony Leung attend the premiere of the movie "Red Cliff 2" in Guangzhou City yesterday. Lin made her movie debut in the first part of this historical epic. But her role as Xiao Qiao, wife of Zhou Yu, commander of the Wu State during the period of the Three Kingdoms (AD220-280), is even more important in the second part as she goes to the enemy camp alone to persuade them to withdraw. The movie will open nationwide starting Thursday.
