LOCAL government officials said a recent piling operation for the Shanghai-Beijing express railway accidentally damaged part of the tunnel structure on a division line of the Metro Line 11 under construction in Jiading District.

Nobody was hurt in the incident. The sub-branch route leads Line 11 to Anting auto town in Jiading. The cause of the accident is being investigated, officials said.
