Macau's trade gap

MACAU'S trade deficit for the first 11 months of last year reached 24.57 billion patacas (US$3.1 billion), according to the figures released yesterday by the city's Statistics and Census Service. The figures showed that total exports of goods fell by 18.7 percent year on year to 15.12 billion patacas between January and November last year, while total imports of goods rose slightly by 0.9 percent to 39.69 billion patacas.
