THE city is testing a road sound barrier with polar photovaltaik technology. A 70-meter barrier which can store solar energy and generate power for road lights has been installed on the Outer Ring Road.

The 70-meter barrier with a capacity of 2,000 watts can generate 2,500 kilowatt-hours of clean electricity every year.
