USAIN Bolt is thinking about an attempt on Michael Johnson's 9-year-old 400-meter world record. The Jamaican sprinter cruised to victory in the 100 and 200 at this year's Olympics, setting world records in both.

Johnson beat the old 400m mark by 0.11 seconds to win in 43.18 at the 1999 world championships in Seville. "Everyone wants to do it," Bolt told BBC. "There are no major championships in 2010 so I could go for the 400-meter record that year. The training for 400m is so much harder but I'm thinking about it."
