TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Ltd and TCL Communication Technology Holdings Ltd, Hong Kong-listed units of Shenzhen-listed TCL Corp, proposed consolidating every 10 of their shares into one share.

The move will cut trading costs, the two firms said in separate statements yesterday.
