THE Shanghai Fire Control Bureau said it has seized 510 cartons of banned and dangerous firecrackers from a truck on the Shanghai-Hangzhou expressway.

The truck, coming from Jiangxi Province, was intercepted at the Xinzhuang Exit. The truck owner and the driver have been detained, authorities said.
