CZECH Republic won 3-0 in San Marino to put their stuttering World Cup qualifying campaign back on track yesterday.

San Marino did well to hold out in the first half but Radoslav Kovac quickly gave the visitors the lead after the break and Zdenek Pospech doubled their advantage on 53 minutes.

Substitute Tomas Necid bagged the third seven minutes from time.

The Czechs had won one, drawn one and lost one of their first three Group Three qualifiers, but now trail leaders Slovakia by two points thanks to victory in this game in hand.

They next visit Slovenia on March 28 with San Marino, bottom with no points, hosting Northern Ireland on Feb 11.
