Return of a religious icon

A nun with the 14th century Greek Orthodox painting of “Descent from the Cross” at the Christian and Byzantine Museum in Athens yesterday. The iconic painting was stolen from a Greek monastery 30 years ago. Following a court battle, it was returned to Greece from London, where it remained with an art dealer.
