THE Cleveland Cavaliers finally put the Denver Nuggets away and won their sixth straight with a 110-99 victory in the NBA today.
Cleveland's LeBron James scored 22 points, most of them coming with Carmelo Anthony guarding him.
Mo Williams scored a season-high 24 points for the Cavs while Chauncey Billups also had a season best with 26 for the Nuggets.
Pistons 107, Warriors 102
In Oakland, California, Allen Iverson scored 23 points and Rasheed Wallace hit back-to-back 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as Detroit struggled past Golden State.
After losing their first two games with Iverson, the Pistons have won the first two games on their four-game road trip. There wasn't a lot to feel good about, though, in this blunder-filled game that featured 33 turnovers and many other miscues.
The Warriors are still seeking their first back-to-back wins of the season.
Bulls 98, Mavericks 91
In Chicago, the home team roared back from an early 19-point deficit to send Dallas to its fourth straight loss.
Ben Gordon scored 35 points for the Bulls, who were booed early in the game by their home crowd.
