11 workers die at construction site in Chongqing

ELEVEN workers died in an accident at a bridge construction site last night in Wulong County in Chongqing, Xinhua news agency reported today.

The report said it was a transport accident that occurred about 10pm last night.

The construction site is in Haokou Village, a remote area in the mountains of Wulong, according to the report.

The vice mayor of Chongqing headed to the site last night, but the report lacked further details.
