Political figure stabbed to death in Guangdong Province

A POLITICAL figure and much-admired middle school principal in southern Guangdong Province was stabbed to death by three attackers on his doorstep early this morning, a south China Website reported.

The victim, Huang Zhaoluan, was deputy chairman of the Lianjiang County Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the key advisory body to county lawmakers, and also the principal of Lianjiang Middle School, Dayoo.com reported.

Huang was attacked by three young men when he left his home in Zhangjiang City at around 6am. He was dead on arrival at a hospital and suffered massive blood loss, Dayoo.com quoted sources as saying.

He received at least five stab wounds to his legs, severing major arteries, the report said.

Huang was elected as one of “Ten Elite Youth” of Zhangjiang City where Lianjiang County is located.

Police were investigating and the motive so far remained unknown.
