ZHABEI District People's Court yesterday sentenced Hu Yukang to two years in prison for cheating migrant workers out of 35,000 yuan (US$5,135).

Hu pretended to be a police officer with the Jing'an District Public Security Bureau and fleeced migrants by promising to get them registered in Shanghai.
