British Airways offers cheap seats to Europe

PASSENGERS can fly to one of 43 European cities from Shanghai or Beijing for as low as 3,380 yuan (US$497), British Airways announced on its Website.

The 3,380 yuan roundtrip airfare is for tickets from Shanghai or Beijing to London and six other cities in the United Kingdom including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester.

Return tickets to other European cities were priced from 4,180 yuan, according to the announcement. The promotion includes cities in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

All tickets must be booked by November 30 and all departures from Beijing or Shanghai must be before March 31, 2009. Tickets are valid for 60 days and are not refundable.

Customers will be charged 1,000 yuan to change their ticket date. Fares don't include taxes and other surcharges.
