THE first weekend charter flight from Taiwan arrived in east China's Shanghai municipality on Friday morning.
Conducted by China Airlines, the plane touched down at 10:20 a.m. at the Pudong airport.
Friday marks a start of weekend charter flights across the Taiwan Strait. Planes carrying about 760 tourists from five cities of the mainland, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Xiamen and Nanjing, will land or have landed in Taiwan.
SHANGHAI'S key stock index declined in the morning session today as concern increased that record oil prices will hurt earnings. Losses would have been heavier, but most banks increased on the back of profit forecasts. ...
