7 hurt as landslide hits train

The conductor of a derailed train helps retrieve passengers' belongings after a crash in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Seven people were slightly injured when the train was hit by a landslide early yesterday. Four had been discharged from hospital by yesterday evening, said Shao Liping, head of the railway administration of Nanning, Guangxi's capital city. The train was carrying 1,118 passengers. The remaining passengers took other trains to the municipality of Chongqing. More than 1,000 rescuers were working overnight to repair the line.
