7 injured as train derails in Guangxi

SEVEN people were injured when a train derailed in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region at 2:20am this morning, Xinhuanet.com reported.

A landslide caused the train to run off the tracks as it made its way from Guangzhou in Guangdong Province, to Chongqing Municipality, the report said.

According to the report, the Railway Bureau of Nanning dispatched rescue teams to the site soon after the accident.
