THE Shanghai Public Security Bureau has helped set up 239 police offices in earthquake-ravaged Dujiangyan, Sichuan Province.

Seven police cars and communication facilities including GPS terminals and communication bases have been provided. The Shanghai Education Commission will also donate 20,000 sets of desks and chairs to Dujiangyan schools by July 10.

Airport patrols

SPECIALIST police began to patrol terminals at Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao Airport yesterday, the Shanghai Public Security Bureau said. The teams have been at work in the city since October 1 last year.
