Mayor does some Strait talking

Taipei Mayor Hau Lung-bin, who arrived in Shanghai yesterday for a five-day visit, tells reporters that Taipei will participate at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai and put on show its efforts in building a wireless city and promoting recycling. An Expo signing will be held after Hau's meeting with Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng on Thursday. Hau, who visited Shanghai in 2004 as secretary of the Taiwan Red Cross, will visit the Shanghai Red Cross today to check on the progress of donations for earthquake-ravaged Sichuan Province.
