FAMOUS Hong Kong actress Michelle Yim has been described as the "Legend of Everlasting Youth." Today, the success of the TV series "Heart of Greed" also proves her everlasting popularity.

Yim plays a hardworking and righteous aunt of a large family who own a chain of dried-seafood stores specializing in abalone.

The series, now screening on Dragon TV, is the most-viewed program in its time slot.

Yim, who came to Shanghai to promote the series and its sequel, said that she will be acting a villain in "Heart of Greed II," as the second wife of a bakery entrepreneur.

"The sequel will soon finish filming," Yim said. "My character is the person who forces the entrepreneur to divorce his first wife. I am not worried about being scolded in the street and hope that the audience will enjoy my performance."

The 52-year-old actress rocketed to fame in the 1970s after starring in martial arts dramas based on Jin Yong's novels. She said she is now eager to try some more complex roles.
