-- Adverstisement --

A SPIDER in Shanghai's Minhang District needs to work on its "spelling" after it was found to have spun two sets of English letters in its net, Youth Daily reported today.

The black and white spider was found in the yard of a woman surnamed Tan in Vanke Holiday neighborhood on Wanding Road. It was said to have weaved the letters "MMM" and "KAYYYW" in its web in some bushes, the report said.

The letters were purely coincidental and each spider is capable of spinning similar webs, the report said, citing an unnamed expert at the Biological Sciences College of Shanghai University.
