Commission returns illegal school fees

ILLEGALLY collected school fees totaling 5.55 million yuan (US$792,857) have been returned so far this year, the biggest seizure in the past few years, the Shanghai Education Commission said today

According to the Shanghai Education Commission, about 1.73 million in wrongly collected fees that could not be returned has been turned over to the state treasury.
