THE IOC Olympic Treasure Exhibition Tour of China will arrive in Shanghai on June 25, organizers announced yesterday.
The International Olympic Museum's treasures are being seen outside Europe for the first time.
A total of 731 exhibits from the museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, including complete sets of torches and medals, mascots and memorial stamps, will be on show.
The International Olympic Museum is a treasure trove of historic items and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
The exhibition also includes more than 30 items provided by the organizing committee of the Beijing Olympic Games.
The exhibition, on until June 30, is on the fourth floor of the Shanghaimart. Tickets are 60 yuan (US$8.69).
