TWO buses collided when both drivers failed to give way, killing two people and injuring four others yesterday in Shenzhen, Guangdong, Guangzhou Daily reported.
Witnesses told the newspaper that both drivers did not brake when at the intersection, which led to the accident.
Shenzhen traffic police confirmed that a No. 245 bus and a No. 328 bus were speeding when they ran into each other at the intersection of Nonglin Road and Zetian Road, the report said.
A female passenger died at the scene. A male passenger was pronounced dead at hospital. The injured passengers remained in stable condition, the report said.
