CARDIFF City teenager Aaron Ramsey signed a long-term contract with English Premier League Arsenal for an undisclosed fee on Friday.


Ramsey, 17, joins the north London club after being courted by Champions League winner Manchester United and Everton. "We are delighted to have signed Aaron Ramsey," Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said in a statement. "He is still only 17, but has already shown that he is a very intelligent and mature player with great quality." According to English media reports Ramsey, a Wales Under-21 international and Cardiff's youngest ever player at the age of 16, rejected an approach by Manchester United after being flown to Switzerland to meet Wenger.
