Wool prices rise

WOOL prices in Australia, the world's biggest producer and exporter of the fiber, rose for the first week in four on demand from China, its biggest customer. Benchmark prices on the Eastern Market Indicator climbed 3 percent, this week to A$8.70 (US$8.16) a kilogram on Thursday, its highest price since May 21.
