ELEVEN people were injured on a flight from Beijing to Hong Kong last night after the aircraft encountered turbulence, Xinhuanet.com reported today.
The Hong Kong Dragon Airlines plane landed safely in the Special Administrative Region and the carrier said it was still investigating the incident.
The airline has apologized to the injured passengers.
Flight KA909 had 256 passengers and a crew of 18 aboard when it hit turbulence over Hong Kong, the report said.
Eight crew members and three passengers were rushed to hospital when the aircraft landed about 8pm last night. Their condition remained unclear, the report said.
