SHANGHAI Jiao Tong University's Antai College of Economics and Management, the country's oldest business school, is to set up a school of management in Beichuan County of Sichuan Province to train management professionals for the earthquake-devastated area.
The new school, named after the college name "Antai," is to prepare middle school graduates for management jobs.
The college will provide a first batch of aid worth 500,000 yuan (US$71,429), to fund the school's infrastructure construction.
Meanwhile, Fudan University announced it has set up a service community made of students from Sichuan Province. Community members will work in earthquake-hit areas.
Fudan also set up a partnership with Weichuan Middle School in the epicenter of Wenchuan County.
RECONSTRUCTION in the zones shattered by the 8.0-magnitude earthquake on May 12 will give priority to transport facilities, the person drafting the State Council's post-quake reconstruction regulation said yesterday. ...
