UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will visit China from July 1 to 3 at the invitation of the Chinese government, the Foreign Ministry said today.
Detailed arrangements of the visit were still being discussed, ministry spokesman Qin Gang said here.
Ban visited China's quake-stricken Sichuan Province on May 24. He went to the epicenter of the 8.0-magnitude earthquake on May 12to express his sympathy for those who had suffered.
