"I'M dying,'' she cried out loud as I tried to calm her down over the phone yesterday.
"How could I do that?'' she sobbed in broken sentences.
She is 22, a blog writer who impressed me as a traditional Chinese girl who would defend her chastity to the death before marriage.
She said she stayed a night with a divorced man more than 10 years older than her in his apartment. She struggled to fend him off when he tried to have sex with her. "But how could I have agreed to stay overnight with him alone?''
She could not forgive herself. "I'M so dirty because he touched me,'' she said in a trembling tone.
She is still clean in my mind. She admitted she had a vague feeling of romance towards him, but she never wanted to have sex that night. Later she found out that all he had told her about his work and life was a lie.
I praised her for her last-minute courage to protect her chastity and assured her that she was not in danger of being infected with a sexually transmitted disease.
I write this down to remind other young girls not to trust a man with a sweet mouth.
Never go to his apartment by yourself if you care about your health and happiness.
