Most banks open for Dragon Boat Festival

BANKS in Shanghai like the Agricultural Bank of China will keep most branches open during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday on Saturday.

ABC will open 70 percent of its 400 outlets in Shanghai during the period while the opening hours for some outlets may be shorter than usual.

Industrial & Commercial Bank of China will operate as if Saturday was not a holiday.

Most banks in Shanghai normally close for holidays such as the Spring Festival.

Customers were advised to call service hotlines for detailed information.

Bank hotlines include: ICBC: 95588, ABC: 95599, BOC: 95566, CCB: 95533 BoCom: 95559, and BOS: 962888.
