Death sentence

The Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court has sentenced Weng Aizhong, 48, to death with a reprieve of two years for murder.

Weng whose aquatic products business had made him wealthy got into debt because of his addiction to online gambling. In an argument with a creditor, surnamed Dai, Weng stabbed him to death.
