MORE snow is forecast tomorrow, but Shanghai will get a break from the white stuff on Wednesday and Thursday, the city's weather bureau said today.

Light snow is expected tomorrow, the Shanghai Meteorological Bureau said.

The bureau forecast more snow on Friday and Saturday, but not as much as what fell over the weekend and today, the bureau warned.

According to the bureau, it is the longest snowy stretch in 17 years and snowfall reached 45.6 millimeters, the most since 1984.
