THE Shanghai No. 1 Intermediate People's Court sentenced a gang of 14 members from 2 1/2 to 15 years in prison and fined them from 50,000 yuan to 300,000 yuan for credit card fraud.

Gang leader Ji Liming bought fake overseas credit cards and contacted night clubs and entertainment places who agreed to pay cash for credit card transactions.

The gang made 7.3 million yuan from July 2005 to April 2006. Among Ji's accomplices were employees of night clubs, hotels and trading companies.
