BY Saturday morning, 49 miners had been confirmed dead in Friday's gas explosion in Jianxin Coal Mine of the Fengcheng Mining Administration in Jiangxi Province. By 9:42 am Saturday morning, the last eight bodies were recovered. Seven people were injured, two seriously. The blast occurred at 11:45 am on Friday at the mine.
