POLICE started a probe after a 13-year-old boy allegedly was seduced to a paid sex service on Monday inside a public bathing center in China's northwest Shaanxi Province.
The boy, with a pseudonym Peng Peng, was waiting for a venereal disease test at a hospital in Xianyang, while the prostitute went missing, local Chinese Business Review reported today.
"I could hardly believe what I was told at that moment," the boy's father, surnamed Meng, told the newspaper as he recalled receiving a 198-yuan (US$31.4) service bill with his son's confirmation signature on it.
Peng Peng visited the Ya Long Wan bathing center with his mother and several other female relatives about 6pm on Tuesday.
A male clerk approached him when he finishing a bath and asked whether he needed a massage service, the boy recalled.
He said had no idea about what's going to happen when he's coaxed into a small room, but admitted having sex with the prostitute afterwards.
The woman allegedly asked for his age before the service but she still continued after he answered he's 13, the newspaper said.
