Shanxi vice governor under probe for suspected violations

REN Runhou, vice governor of north China's Shanxi Province, is under investigation for suspected "serious law and discipline violations," China's anti-graft authority said yesterday.
The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CPC) released the news on its website.
Ren, 57, served as the vice governor of Shanxi, which is renowned for its rich coal mine resources, starting 2011.
