Program Code: 0909346140105002 | The nearly-3-minute video clip named "the communist party of China is with you along the way" has become an instant online stir after being released online by its producer, a Chinese studio. People from all walks of life talked about their dreams in the video, which also introduced about China.

A VIDEO praising the Communist Party that first appeared online more than a year ago has been re-released by the People’s Daily, winning renewed approval by China’s online community.

The 3-minute video entitled “The Communist Party Of China Is With You Along The Way” which first appeared online in January last year featured people from all walks of life talking about their dreams. It also showed scenes of China’s diverse urban and rural landscape.

“The 80 million members of the CPC, and the rest of the population, are working toward everyone’s dream.

“For every dreamer to have a stage, and for every dream seeker to have an opportunity for success, to have the joy of a dream-come-true,” a narrator says in English, with Chinese subtitles.

From students and farmers to dancers and delivery staff, the aspirations expressed in the video are various.

Among them are “a good harvest,” “to start a diner,” “some more pension,” “a pretty wife,” “azure sky and cleaner water” and “a world free of wars.”

Led by the Party, Chinese people have the opportunity to make their dreams come true, the video concludes.

While lauding its high production standards, many hailed its frankness and human touch.

“We all have our own dreams, and 1.3 billion small dreams will form our Chinese dream,” was one comment on Sina Weibo yesterday.

Another said: “The video focuses on the people’s happiness, and I really think it’s good.”

While showcasing China’s beautiful landscape, its heritage and urban sprawl, the video also features the country’s underdeveloped rural villages, polluting factories and traffic woes.

“The country is growing fast, but with development disparities. It’s full of opportunities as well as untold challenges,” the narrator says.

One Weibo user wrote: “It really shows confidence: No dodging problems, no pessimism. It makes the goal for which we are all striving clear.”

Another entry said: “Although there are still things we don’t like, as long as we make the effort, problems will eventually be solved. I love my country.”

The video was produced by a studio called “On The Road To Revival,” which had previously produced one about how state leaders become successful.

As of yesterday afternoon, the video had been viewed more than 1.3 million times.
