Nanning supermarket stabbing spree leaves 9 wounded

A GROUP of unidentified people armed with knives attacked supermarket employees and customers in a wild hacking spree about 3pm today in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China News Service reported.

Nine people were wounded in the attack, the supermarket’s manager, surnamed Qiu, told the news service. The victims were rushed to a hospital but the report didn’t have any details on the severity of the injuries.

The manager reportedly said the supermarket’s security team caught one of the assailants and that the individual had been handed over to police.
