Motorist returns and kills 1 cop, injuring 3 others in revenge knife attack after being caught for traffic violations

A man allegedly killed a policeman and injured three others this morning in an act of revenge against police who caught him violating traffic rules yesterday in Luoyang, central China’s Henan Province, police said.
The suspect surnamed Deng, 42, was punished for riding a motor tricycle without license yesterday afternoon. After he returned home, he decided to take revenge on police and also consumed a lot of drinks, he said.
At around 7:40am, he carried a knife and went to the spot where he was caught, stabbing police officers on duty there, causing one death and three injuries, police said.
Other police officers and passers-by worked together to subdue him. The injured police officers are still being treated at hospital, police said.
