Man chews his own hand while sleepwalking thinking it was pork knuckle

A man in east China chewed his own hand while sleepwalking, apparently thinking it was a pork knuckle.
The man, in his 20s and surnamed Li, was visiting his cousin in Hengshan Town in Zhejiang Province. He went to bed after having some alcohol on Tuesday night, Qianjiang Evening News reported.
Next day at 5am, Li’s cousin found him gnawing his left hand and blood spilled all over. He tried to wake him up but failed. He eventually dragged him to a local hospital and then informed police fearing that he may try to commit suicide.
When police arrived at the hospital, they found Li in stable condition. He told them he must have been sleepwalking – saying it was hereditary. He claimed he was biting his hand thinking it was a pork knuckle.
