Chinese on board fated vessel

THE Chinese embassy in Seoul confirmed yesterday that two Chinese citizens were on board the South Korean ferry, one male and one female.
Relatives of the pair said they had seen them board the ship with a vehicle in security camera footage. Meanwhile, a Xinhua news agency correspondent learned later in the day that a teenager of Chinese origin was among the people still missing a day after the accident.
Parents of the student confirmed the news, but declined to say hether she was a South Korean citizen.
