Worker falls to death

A 25-YEAR-OLD worker fell to his death after accidentally stepping on to a ventilation shaft on the sixth floor of a downtown office building. The man was doing maintenance work when the accident happened around 5pm at the SML Center in Huangpu District. He was dead by the time rescuers moved his body out of the shaft. Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
