A woman suspected of killing her husband to end years of domestic violence against her has been arrested for murder, Baoshan District People’s Procuratorate said yesterday.
On August 14, the suspect allegedly beat her husband to death with a hammer while he was asleep. The night before his death, the husband allegedly beat and kicked her again. The suspect handed herself in to police after the murder, prosecutors said.
