Wheelchair gets stuck on NMRS machine in hospital

A metal wheelchair got stuck on a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrum (NMRS) at a hospital in Shanghai on Monday. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The wheelchair belonged to a patient, who had just undergone an NMR at Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital. On completion, the family rushed to pick him, ignoring hospital regulations. Even though the magnetic spectrum was in a standby mode, it pulled the wheelchair towards it.

After inspection, the hospital said the NMRS was not damaged and the patient did not have to pay any compensation.

The NMRS reportedly costs 10 million yuan.
