Warnings for 6 Party officials on spending
SIX officials from state-owned companies and institutions received warnings for violations against the Party’s eight-point rules for frugality, China’s top anti-graft body said yesterday.
Xiong Zheng, chairman of Women’s Federation in Changshou Road community, used official funds to hold a dining party for community workers in December 2015.
Zhang Wen, manager of Huifeng Hotel, misused official funds to buy cigarettes and wine last May.
Gu Zhongqing organized a tour for subordinates with state funds last April when he was the director of the management committee of Ping’an economic park in Fengxian District.
Zhang Guoqiang, general manager, and his deputy Li Jiangang, from Kaisheng landscaping company, illegally received treats and money from others from 2013 to 2016.
Liu Yun, Party chief of Waizao Village in the Pudong New Area, spent too much on Party members during their visit to other districts.
