THE Shanghai Institute of Administrative Law yesterday launched a contest to translate local government documents into English as it seeks to attract more people into the field.
Anyone interested in a career in legal translation can participate in the competition by visiting eastday.com or shanghailaw.gov.cn.
Translations should be submitted by September 15, and the results will be announced in October. Ten people will win prizes and also get the chance to work as translators for the institute.
